[The Eighth Annual Free Art Show]
Once again, the Free Art Show will show the works of over twenty artists in several locations throughout Newburyport, MA, and this year we'll have shows in Portland, ME, Biddeford, ME, and Portsmouth, NH.
As we have done in previous years, we've assembled artists who have contributed 30 pieces of art each, which will be given away, anonymously, in "free art bins" throughout the city. Each artist's work might be 30 copies of the same piece, 30 different pieces, or anywhere in between.
Around December 1st, we posted in various locations a sign with a pocket, containing random selections of the art. The sign says "Take One". All the art is free for the taking.
This year's artists include Nikole Beckwith, Alan Bull, Kate Burton, Olivia Clove, Sara Elizabeth Connor, Karen Dardinski, Peter Erickson, Paula Estey, Mitra Farmand, Bonnie Jean Malcolm, Erika Marquardt, Dylan Metrano, Gordon Przybyla, Charlie Russell, Mandy Sabine, Kathy Seekamp, Trev Stair, & Mia Thurlow.
